Quand Josh et ses 3 potes quittent Los Angeles pour participer à une rave-party en plein cœur du Désert Mojave, ils sont loin d'imaginer ce qui les attend. La fête laisse vite place à la terreur lorsqu'ils se rendent compte que la voiture a été sabotée pendant la nuit par un gang de motards dégénérés. Isolés par 40 000 km² de sable, encerclés par un ennemi inconnu, ils sont désormais prêts à tout pour survivre dans cet enfer même au pire !
